The SALAM has now been completely reinvented in a completely monochromatic blue, white, pink or green. The 100% colour block effect of the lacquered dome covers in shades matching their teapot bodies, invigorate the salam range making them a real decorative object.
Created in 1953, the Salam teapot is an iconic product of Degrenne Paris.
The finest of porcelain is used for the teapot body with an integral infuser. This is combined with a felt lined, lacquered steel cover, which keeps the tea inside at its optimum temperature for twice as long as in a conventional teapot. This is a clever trick to ensure that the tea is infused with all the subtlety of its flavours as the tasting progresses.
