Based on the iconic SALAM shape with a Limoges porcelain body and a stainless steel bell made in their factory in Vire, this teapot embellishes the SALAM line with hand-laid gold touches.

Created in 1953, the Salam teapot is an iconic product of Degrenne Paris. The finest of porcelain is used for the teapot body with an integral infuser. This is combined with a felt lined, lacquered steel cover, which keeps the tea inside at its optimum temperature for twice as long as in a conventional teapot. This is a clever trick to ensure that the tea is infused with all the subtlety of its flavours as the tasting progresses.
