Noble China – Refined, Alumina Strengthened Vitrified Porcelain

Ultra Smooth High Fired Glaze – The exceptionally high firing temperature of over 1,400c delivers an exceptionally hard, strong and ultra smooth glaze which, is resistant to abrasion. This results in a surface which is easy to clean and does not suffer from permanent marking, therefore, showing your food off to perfection. The extended life delivers excellent cost in use.

Super Vitrified Porcelain – Schönwald is fired in the kiln to over 1,400c making it extremely dense, very strong and resistant to the ingress of water and thus a very hygienic surface on which to serve food. The firing temperature and profile delivers a fully vitrified porcelain which complies with the performance requirements of BS4034 Vitrified Hotelware.

Quality Raw Materials – The product uses the best raw materials and a sophisticated composition including kaolin, quartz and feldspar. This creates a highly appealing durable porcelain with an exceptionally strong and smooth glaze and bright white finish providing a cost-effective long-term solution.

Designed for Performance – Schönwald has been design engineered with performance and functionality in mind to withstand the rigours of a busy commercial environment. Rounded, strong edge profiles prevent chipping and the stackability of key shapes, aids space saving and back of house storage resulting in less breakages.

Optimum Heat Retention – The dense nature of the Schönwald body which is created through the firing process and vitrification means the product will hold on to heat for longer periods of time, therefore, keeping food and drink at an optimum temperature during food service.

Dishwasher, Oven, Microwave and Freezer Safe – Schönwald has been designed and developed to be highly resistant to the detergents and chemicals used in industrial dishwashers. The very high temperature firing makes all of our products oven safe to the maximum temperature of a commercial oven, however, to prolong the life of your product we do not recommend a very extreme/abrupt temperature change of greater than +/- 220K.
