Vividi Glass is made in Colognola ai Colli, Verona, Italy, which is known for glass design and style. The raw materials, which are sourced exclusively from Europe, are carefully checked upon arrival to ensure a high standard of quality and only the best materials are selected, after accurate quality control tests that are performed daily.

• ‘High Definition’ (HD) glass with an ultra-smooth surface
• Extra high brilliance with a refractive index of 1.51. HD glass is manufactured exclusively with sodium-calcic glass, with a low metal content. This means the glass has an extremely high brilliance. The effect can be compared to the brilliance of crystal but, unlike the latter, HD glass contains no lead
• Amazing clarity and whiteness – HD glass boasts the description ‘extra-white’, as the iron content is almost non-existent, causing its ‘white’ colouring, free from any green, blue or yellow nuances. At 3mm thick, HD glass transmits light at 92%, as proved by research carried out by the Laboratorio Analisi Vetrerie Riunite
• Lead and Cadmium free, which makes ‘High Definition’ Glass infinitely recyclable
• Microwave Safe – Tests performed on HD glass articles by Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro in Murano, have certified that HD glass is suitable for use in Microwave Ovens, unlike crystal for example, which contains lead
• Dishwasher Safe – HD glass is certified as highly chemically stable, certainly over the average, meaning it does not deteriorate after prolonged dishwasher use. It does not become cloudy and is extremely resistant to hydrolytic attack and both these characteristics have been proven by specific quality control tests performed by the Murano Glass Testing Centre
• Maximum Resistance and Safety – Thanks to the purity of the raw materials use in the manufacturing process, HD glass is considered particularly resistant to impact and mechanical stress. Furthermore, as pressed and annealed glass, it has proven to be extremely safe, above average compared to other products in the market
